Hi Steve, I just so stumbled on your blog through Steve Bock's blog, through a fellow composer/lyricist/mentor- J.Paul William's Blog. Anyhow, I caught a little bit about your church struggles and your heaviness. I think that it ALL comes to prove how much the world and even church people (who are supposedly suppose to be "good") need God's GRACE! Afterall, if we claim to be without sin, then what did Christ die for? But, thanks be to God that through His grace He has saved us! Fear not, oh Child of our King, of how the world sees your church falling apart or how they mock it...Instead, through it, grasp and breathe the awesome grace of God and how He still loves his children who sin just like everyone else does! (Sure, we'd like to think we are "better" but, it's not true...obviously.) Then, share that Grace with all the ferver you can muster with whoever you come in contact with! Turn it around for God's Glory, brother! Do you get what I'm getting at?!?! Romans 8:28 Matthew 28:19 What is the church, really? Second - Cindy, are you talking about Steve Bock of Fred Bock Music? If so, I had no idea he has a blog! Can I get his url from you? info@dandykat.com.
DAN-- Yes, Fred Bock Music. I enjoy reading his blogs. I find them to be informative and insightful. I don't think I've ever met him before, though I may be wrong...I guess it depends if he does choral clinics in my neck of the woods or thereabouts?!?
