He was only a year older than me.
He was a hero.
He loved Jesus with all his heart, and his life displayed it, consistently.
And now, he is gone. The entire City of Angels is something less because of this loss.
I will be praying for grace, peace and mercy for his dear family.

I weep for the pain of your community and Officer Randy's Simmon's family and friends. I rejoice that he has eternal life and I pray for grace and mercy for his family and all who knew him. I am thankful for the men and women who continuously have the courage to uphold the thin blue line.
