I had lunch today with my old friend Rob, who sent me this video. Although its slightly painful to give credit to a Trojan, Pete Carroll is a man of great character. Enjoy this:

You need do a little more homework here, Steve. Just look at the state of the program he runs. SC is the Miami of the west. Football and basketball programs reflect the character of their coach. And given SC players seem to have rap sheets as long as... well... they're long, Pete is far from a shining example of great character.
Such words are reserved for the likes of John Wooden. And I can tell you this, John Wooden's players never had the trouble with the law the way Pete's kids do. Pete is good at one thing: looking the other way.
There is a reason Mike Garrett had LA's assistant DA on their staff.
